Cora K. LeShure, 90, of Dundee, NY, formally of Dresden/Penn Yan, NY passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025 at home.

Honoring Cora’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.  A private family burial will be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorial donations may be made in her name to Ontario-Yates Hospice, 756 Pre-Emption Road, Geneva, NY 14456.

Cora was born in Tyrone, NY on November 16, 1934, the daughter of the late Joseph and Martha Jones.  Cora was a homemaker after many years of various jobs.  She was a bus driver for the Penn Yan Central School District in the 1980’s.  Cora also worked at the Ames Department Store in Penn Yan and was a member of the Dresden Fire Department for years.

Cora enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and work on needle point projects.  She enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Buffalo Bills.  She enjoyed being with her family.

Cora is survived by her children, Julie (AJ) of Dundee with whom she shared a home, Rodger Sr. of Penn Yan, Kathy of Penn Yan and Henry of Penn Yan; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wayne, sons, Wayne Jr. and David, her grandson Bradley and her beloved dog, Baby.
