Ronald N Czadzeck

CANANDAIGUA – Ronald N. Czadzeck passed away on July 8, 2025, in Canandaigua, New York, at the age of 89.

Born on May 27, 1936, in Canandaigua, Ron was the son of Linda and Henry Czadzeck. He graduated from Victor Central School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science from Miami University and a Master’s degree from the University of Rochester.

Ron dedicated his professional life to education, serving as a teacher, Dean, and Coordinator of Special Education for the Rochester City School District. His commitment to community extended beyond the classroom. He was one of the founders of the Victor Recreation Program, served on the Victor School Board, and was an active member of the Lions Club. Notably, he was also the first Eagle Scout from Victor.

For 67 years, Ron shared a loving marriage with Harriet S. “Sammy” Czadzeck. Together they raised five children: Marc Czadzeck (Katherine), Lynne Falby (Daniel), Susan Ryan (Andrew Pierpont), Ellen Hazo (Timothy), and Pamela Miller (Martin). He was a proud grandfather to fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy. Ron is also remembered by his sister Donna C. Castle and nephew Thomas Bergan. His extended family provided much happiness and comfort.

Family was at the heart of Ron’s life. He cherished vacations and visits to Heretiz and Cotton Patch, found joy in singing and traveling, and was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan. Ron had a gift of storytelling and could always be counted on to bring a smile with a well timed joke or a tale from the past.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The United Church of Christ in Canandaigua, N.Y. We find comfort in knowing that Dad’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever. He leaves behind a long line of love.
