GORDON R. BERNDT
Gordon Berndt,93, of Victor passed away peacefully on January 11,2024 with family and friends by his side. Gordy was born Kitchner, Ontario to Gordon and Mildred Berndt. He married the love of his life, Jean Pennings in June 1955. Gordy worked at Eastman Kodak for 30 + years. He was an active member of the Victor Lions Club for over 70 years. Gordy enjoyed wildlife photography, hunting, fishing, trapping, and spending time with family and friends. He was a very active member in several trapping organizations, holding various positions within each organization. Gordy most enjoyed sharing his wealth of knowledge of the great outdoors to all that would take the time to listen. His quick wit and storytelling will be missed by all who knew him.
Gordy is survived by his son , Don ( Macedon) daughters Kathy and Deb (Victor) and Sue ( Arkansas) , 6 grandkids and 8 great grandchildren. Brothers Bob ( Colorado) Allan ( North Carolina ) Sister in law Barb(Michigan) and many nieces and nephews. He predeceased by his wife Jean, sister in law Ann, his parents and 2 sisters, and nephew Scott.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 11, 2024 at the United Methodist Church on Victor and 1 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions can be directed to the Victor Lions Club (PO Box 85 Victor, NY 14564) in his memory.
