Emily C. Hiler
Emily passed away on April 8, 2024 in Cohoes, NY at the age of 37, the daughter of Maureen and Charles (deceased) Hiler, sister to Elizabeth Chase (Donald) and Aunt of Robbie Chase of Farmington, NY.
Emily was a kind and loving young woman who was sensitive to the needs of others. She loved working and helping people, especially the elderly.
Emily suffered from addiction, a disease she struggled with for many years. She was unable to overcome that battle.
Calling hours will be held Saturday April 13, 2024 from 3-5pm at Jarmusz Cotton Funeral Home, 26 Maple Ave. Victor, NY 14564.

I cannot begin to imagine the pain you are in. Addiction has the ability to take over in the lives of so many. I know that you did all in your power to help her.

I’m so sorry for your loss, Emily was such a beautiful soul and I’m so grateful that I got to know her. Her smile lit up the room and I feel so blessed to have been able to experience it. I pray you find peace and comfort during this time. I wish I could come to her services this weekend to meet you all. I knew Emily from when she was in recovery and going to meetings. I know she’d want to give us all hugs and I’m sending you one now.💗🙏🏻
