Linda Lee Sherman Wager
Linda Lee Sherman Wager, age 69, of Bloomfield, NY, passed away quietly on June 4, 2021.
Linda was the daughter of Donald L. Sherman and the late Loretta Fitzgerald Sherman.
Growing up in Bloomfield, Linda was a graduate of Bloomfield Central School, with the class of 1969. She married Dale Wager of Fishers, NY, and the two raised their son Chance in Bloomfield. Linda was a Rural Mail Carrier out of the Victor Office and retired after almost 20 years of service. Always active, Linda enjoyed many team sports, including softball, bowling and card games with family and friends. Much of her time was focused on equestrian pursuits, with trail riding in her early years leading to participating in many show seasons with the Wayne Monroe Horse Council.
Linda was pre-deceased by her husband Dale in 2008. She is survived by her son Chance D. Wager, her grandson Ross Wager, her sister Barbara Sherman Years (Douglas Magin), her nephew John (Stephanie) Years and their sons Brandon and Benjamin, niece Colleen (Adleor) Brigham and their daughter Elizabeth Drake (Matt), nephew Jason (Jennifer) Ford, niece Jennifer (Thomas) Goodell, and special friends Jackie Lutton and Annita Breitweiser (DRB).
The family will hold a celebration of Linda’s life at a later date.
