Joe DiPietro, 45, of Geneva, NY, passed away on Wednesday June 7, 2023, at Strong Hospital in Rochester, New York. He was born on January 25, 1978, in Syracuse, NY, to Robert and Joanne DiPietro. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert DiPietro.
Joe graduated from East Syracuse Minoa High School in 1996. After high school, he served in the United States Marine Corp, having served until 2000.
After his military service, Joe worked at the VA Hospital. He was known for his hard work and dedication to his job.
Outside of work, Joe enjoyed fishing, gardening, drawing, being outside in nature, and helping other people. He will be remembered for his kind and caring nature.
Joe is survived by his mother, Joanne (Michael Voce), his brother Robert (Tammy Barnes) DiPietro, brother Raymond DiPietro, his biological sons Joseph Scilingo and Brandon Scilingo, nieces Mia DiPietro and Giana DiPietro, along with friends John Taylor, James A. and Jennifer LaRoche and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
No services or funeral will be held.
Rest in peace, Joe. You will be missed by all who knew you.
