Kevin Lee Matteson
On March 14, 2023 Kevin Lee Matteson, of Bloomfield passed away peacefully at the age of 55 surrounded by his immediate family. Kevin was born on February 12, 1968 in Hanover, New York to Catherine (McConnell) and Robert Matteson. Kevin is survived by his loving girlfriend Valerie Hammill, daughters Savannah (Matteson) Emery and Brianna Matteson, and siblings Wendy (McIntyre) Harms and Kent Matteson. He is also survived by his granddaughter McKenna and newly born grandson, Luca. Kevin was an avid hunter, fisherman, and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, football, and driving anything with wheels. He served as a volunteer firefighter in the Bristol Fire Department for 30 years. His sense of humor and love for life will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A memorial to honor Kevin’s life will be held Sunday March 19, 2023 from 12:00-2:00pm at the Bristol Fire hall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Bristol Fire Department in Kevin’s name.

I never knew I could miss a friend this much in my lifetime but I do . I miss you Kevin . Hopefully you watching over all of us making fun of everything we do and saying those quote that means so much but yet so simple words .
