Rosalie Crippen

Passed away on March 28, 2023 at age 93. She was predeceased by her husband Earl “Buddy”. Rosalie is survived by children Kathleen (Benjamin) Lovejoy, Kenny Crippen and Mark Crippen; grandchildren Dawn Westfall, Megan Gillander, Stacy Crippen, Kyle Crippen, Corinne Johnson and Ashley Crippen; 8 great grandchildren and daughter-in-law Sheryl Crippen. Rosalie loved sewing and many people are enjoying her craft. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Fishers Fire Dept. (7853 Main St. Fishers Victor, NY 14564) or Ontario Yates Hospice (756 PreEmption Rd Geneva, NY 14456) in her memory.
Calling hours will be held Thursday April 6th 3-6 p.m. at Jarmusz Cotton Funeral Home (26 Maple Ave. Victor, NY). Rosalie’ s Funeral Service will be celebrated Friday April 7th 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Boughton Hill Cemetery.
Rosie was very special. We will all miss her so much! Friday morning’s will never be the same!
She loved and talked about her family all the time. She was so proud of all of you!
My father’s family had Crippens in their history.
At least one is buried in a cemetery in Soencerport.
Some of the family left the Brickport area and moved to Wayne County in the 1930’s.
I have been searching fir the connection and history fir a while and would love to have any information of a possible connection.

I just found out about Aunt Rosalie’s death. Since we moved to NC, I don’t always know what’s going on in the family. I miss her and Uncle Buddy. I miss her humor and compassion..
