Passed away on August 8, 2022 at age 86. She was predeceased by her parents Viola and Homer Winans. Joyce is survived by her husband Glen Owen Thon; children Garth Olen Thon, Gregory Alan Thon and Jo Ann Thon Harwood; grandchildren Brendan Prescott Thon, Ashley Lynn Thon, Brooke Alexandra Thon, Jared Glen Harwood and Emma Lee Harwood; sister Barbara Jean Elliott. Joyce was a member of the Two Cylinder Club. She loved tending to her orchards and her outside gardens. She loved creating quilts, crocheting and knitting. Joyce loved to see her grandchildren’s accomplishments. Best of all she enjoyed telling Dad what to do!!
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer Association in her memory.
Joyce you have an Amazing family and have had a wonderful life.You have so.. many great accomplishments Rest In Peace beautiful lady🕊

So sorry to hear that Joyce passed. We have lots of great memories and times we shared with her. Keep the good memories in your mind.
With great sorrow we write this. Joyce Thon was a great friend and we spent many times with Joyce and Glen since 1955 We will miss her greatly. We will miss the many Hand and Foot card games and our favorite food “Cod Fish Gravy”, Glen and Joyce even served it at their 40th Anniversary party, That was Awesome. We hope that God will be with the Thon family at this time of Sorrow.
