Robert W. Hoffman, of Farmington, NY, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021, at age 81. He is survived by his loving wife Mary; children Amy Hoffman, Kristen (Joe) Hoffman, Julie (Julanne) May, and Peter (Kathy) May; granddaughters Sydney, Kate, Allison, and Jemma; brother Ron.
Bob served two years in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman in Korea. He worked at RG&E for 28 years, which brought him many wonderful, lifelong friends. After retirement, Bob and Mary spent 10 years living in Cape Vincent on the St. Lawrence River, where he loved boating, fishing, and shore dinners. He was also known as quite the storyteller. Those who knew Bob know that The River was dear to him, where many memories were made with friends and family. When Bob and Mary moved back to Farmington, he found great joy spending time with his granddaughters.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 22, from 4-6 p.m. at Jarmusz Cotton Funeral Home in Victor, NY.
Those who wish to express sympathy may donate to the M.M. Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua, NY; to the Alzheimer’s Association; or to their favorite charity, in Bob’s name.
