Suzanne Tierney Canandaigua NY – passed away at home 01/20/2021 at age 93.  Survived by her former husband of 23 years Jan Wlochowski, son Arthur (Melissa) Wlochowski, daughter Ellen Hays, granddaughter Karen Hays, and grandson Ariel Hays as well as many loving family members and dear friends.

Sue was educated at St. Ambrose Elementary, St. Agnes High School, Nazareth College, Fordham University, and Catholic University of America.  She was a professional Social Worker for 48 years.  In her career she worked in Washington (DC), Germany, Baltimore (MD), Sells (AZ), and Rochester (NY).  Her focus in life was to be of service to others.  This included many years of volunteer work at: St. Louis Eucharistic Minister (Pittsford, NY), St. Thomas the Apostle founding member/Eucharistic Minister (Tucson, AZ), Isaiah Hospice House (Rochester, NY), St. Mary’s Eucharistic Minister to the Nursing Home/Thompson Hospital (Canandaigua, NY), Sisters of St. Joseph’s of Rochester Motherhouse (Rochester, NY), Blessed Sacrament church sale (Rochester, NY), The Friendly Home (Rochester, NY), as well as others unknown to her children.
