Our sweet, funny, inspirational Andrea Jo Rugg was taken from us too early, on March 14, 2020. She is survived by her children Justain, Shane and Brayden, her parents: Valerie Walton, Lennie Rugg (Donna), grandparents: Helen Hopper, Jean Rugg, siblings: Lynn Gayhart, Diane Skidmore (Billy) and Corrina Walton, her step sister and brother Hana and Chris Timbs, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.Andrea attended Victory Baptist Church and was a member of various recovery groups.

Calling Hours will be held Wednesday from 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM at the Jarmusz Cotton Funeral Home, 26 Maple Avenue, Victor, NY.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ROCovery Fittness, Inc. (rocoveryfittness.org)

In addition to flowers or donation, the family asks that, to honor Andrea, you reach out to at least one person who struggles with addiction. That could be a close family member, an acquaintance, or even a stranger you may encounter on the street. Share an expression of love and caring and, above all, acceptance.

  1. I will miss you my dear friend. You struggled so much. You were so hoping for 2020 to be your best year. I will see you again in glory.

  2. I am just so, so sorry. I knew her at Liberty Manor and the Coffee Connection of which I am the executive director. Please reach out to me if you so desire. I am so sorry she did not make it and I am so devastated for her children. This was a true heart-breaker and we have lost so many. I thought she was doing well. Blessings to all of you!!
