Pat’s kindness and acceptance of people is something that those who knew her attempted to emulate. All were welcomed at her table and into her home. Pat lived with purpose and a deep dedication to the people she loved. She routinely checked with her family and friends. Pat was always offering to drive friends to appointments, help move, bring “something”, sit with someone, shop for someone and do what she could to help them.  Her memory will live on in our hearts.

They created many memories throughout the years, such as raising their families, traveling, helping each other on household projects, and enjoying RIT functions.  Mom was fond of her “Jims and Pats.”  Pat B. shared that the older they got, the better they got. Since they retired, they had many long conversations and adventures together that typically ended with Abbots Custard by the canal. Pat was dearly loved and will be missed. Her husband Jim worked at Xerox Corporation.  Pat (and Jim) formed lifelong friendships with the “Xerox” families: John and Joanne Wargo, Dave and Pat Facinelli, Don and Carol Vallese, and John and Lucy Appoloney.  Pat (and her family) enjoyed the friendship of these families for many years.  Pat attended baptisms, birthdays, and graduations. She traveled with, celebrated holidays, and supported these good friends through thick and thin (and visa versa). Mom enjoyed traveling. She visited six of the seven continents, including several multi-week visits to China and Ireland. She enjoyed cruises, river tours, and multi-country visits. She also enjoyed traveling to visit family and friends. Pat was an active member of the Macedon Garden Club for 50+ years, serving as President from 1974-77.
