Michael P. Burdick, [67], of Farmington, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday September 14 th 2023.

Michael is survived by his wife of 41 years, Eileen Knapp Burdick, and his three children, Monica (Andrew) Olschewske, Bradley Burdick, and Gabriel Burdick, as well as his three grandsons, Caleb, Isaac, and Adam. He is also survived by his father, Donald W. Burdick, his brother Thomas (Joan) Burdick, and his sister Anne (Kendall) Whalen. Michael was predeceased by his mother Edwina Mortensen Burdick.

Michael, who was most fondly known as Burd, was a passionate lifelong New York Mets fan who enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to go on nature walks and especially liked to go bird watching. He was also a talented artist. His collection of drawings, watercolor paintings, and caricatures is just one of his many legacies he leaves behind.

His biggest legacy was that he was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather whose infectious smile and humor will forever be missed.

Funeral service will be Wednesday Sept. 27th 11 a.m. at Jarmusz-Cotton Funeral Home, 26 Maple Ave, Victor, NY. Calling hours will be immediately following from 12p.m.-2p.m.
