Eugene J. Wargo, 72, of Geneva, passed away on Thursday (February 3, 2022) at home with his family by his side.

There are no calling hours and burial will be at the convenience of the family at the Brookside Cemetery in Geneva.

Gene was born April 7, 1949 in Trenton, N.J., the son of the late Joseph and Marie Wargo. He had previously worked for Helena Agri-Enterprises in Genoa, Osterhoudt Farms in Genoa and Keystone Mills. He enjoyed woodworking, bee keeping, gardening and spending time with his family.He is survived by his daughter, Julie (Bob) Myer of Geneva; grandchildren, Jordan and Mikayla Myer, Michael (Julia Senack) Wargo of Seneca Falls, and Ashley (Mike Cunningham) Wargo of Waterloo; and great grandchildren, Jayson Wargo and Amber Breese; sister, Elsie Todd of N.J., brother, Joe (Sharon) Wargo of Genoa, sister, Eleanor Edling of Hopewell, N.J; nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Ernie; his parents; wife Carolyn; and son, Jason.
