Kenneth O. Powell, age 91 passed away 2/7/2022. Ken was born in Newark, NY. Ken was predeceased by his mother Margaret DeGrave, sister Eleanor Weiser and daughter in law Mary Powell.  Survived by his wife of 63 years, Katherine Elizabeth (Betty Weber), son Bernard (Chicago, IL), daughter Kristina (Kurt VanderMolen) Atascadero, CA and Mary (David Baginski) Williamsville, NY and grandchildren Kirstyn Kansas City, MO, Morgan Austin, TX, Kelsey San Diego, CA, Lindsey San Francisco, CA, Drew Williamsville, NY, Chris Bellingham, WA, Willow Olean, NY.

Ken was an Air Force veteran in the Korean War and worked at Eastman Kodak for 32 years. He volunteered at Thompson Hospital for 20 years. He also was a member of the Farmington Senior Citizens Club for 25 years. Ken enjoyed keeping up with current events and loved spending time with his family.

 

Calling Hours will be held Wednesday February 16th 3-6 p.m. at Jarmusz Cotton Funeral Home (26 Maple Ave. Victor, NY). Ken’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday February 17th 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church (95 North Main St. Canandaigua, NY). Interment will be private.
