Reed, Nancy Karen (Hall)
Victor NY – Passed away surrounded by her family on Friday October 22, 2021 at the age of 77. Born on October 31, 1943 in Titusville, PA to Arthur and Dorothy Hall. She lived in Centerville, PA and was a graduate of Titusville Area High School, class of 1961. Married Richard in 1962 and then moved to Utica, NY before settling in Victor, NY.
Nancy really enjoyed crafts, was an excellent painter of china and had beautiful handwriting. She was also very skilled in needlework, crochet, and sewing. She was an avid bowler for much of her life and was a member of the New York State 600 Club. She was her son’s greatest cheerleader as she was often at a field or track cheering him on in various sports that he played growing up. She was also the official scorekeeper on many of his baseball teams. She kept her mind sharp by playing bingo and cards with several different social groups. Nancy volunteered her time with the JNC’s (Jaycees) and later Eastern Star.
Nancy was the beloved wife of Richard for 59 years and loving mother to Christine and Jason. She was also deeply loved as mother in law to Kathy and grandmother to Lillian.
She is predeceased by her parents Arthur Legrand Hall (1992) and Dorothy Margaret Mary Dugan, daughter Christine Lynne Reed (2004), and granddaughter Lillian Michelle Reed (2019).
Nancy is survived by her husband Richard Glenn Reed, son Jason Eric Reed, daughter in law Kathleen Ann (Ubert) Reed, sister Marion Lorraine (Hall) Miller.
Funeral Services for Nancy will be held Friday October 29th 3 p.m. at Jarmusz Cotton Funeral Home (26 Maple Ave Victor, NY). Calling hours will follow her service from 4-7 p.m.. Interment will be private.
Forever remembered & forever missed. Will cherish the times spent together, dear friend.

Dick, I am so saddened to hear about Nancy’s passing. I remember the stories you would share about your travel adventures and life together. May she rest in peace. My sympathies to you, your son and daughter-in-law.
