William Thomas Jackling, 88, Passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, in Ontario New York.
Born on April 28 1936 Tom led a life marked by dedication to his work, service to his country, and devotion to his family. He built a multifaceted career that spanned servicing refrigeration and machinery, HVAC systems, construction, retail and restaurant ownership. His hands on approach and entrepreneurial spirit left a lasting impression on those who worked with him.
Tom proudly served in the Army Reserves for 34 years. His long-standing commitment reflected his deep sense of duty. He was also affiliated with the Veterans Of America.
Outside of his professional and military life, Tom found Joy in flying planes and collecting coins – pursuits that spoke to both his adventurous nature and his appreciation for history.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Susan(Glen), Laurie(Mike) and Deborah(David): his son Christopher(Katie). Brother, Sam(Diane) and sister Sally. Six grandchildren Brittany, Gage, Tanner, Rebecca, Brandon and Skye. He was Predeceased by his beloved wife Martha, parents Harold and Jane Jackling and his sister Maryjane.
Tom will be remembered as a friendly, generous, and kind man whose legacy lives on through the many lives he touched.
