It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Kingsley-Herne on March 1, 2025, at the age of 71. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael Herne and a loving mother to Nathaniel Herne, Christopher Engert, Adam Engert, and the late Tina Engert. Her heart was also filled with love for her grandchildren, Keeley Werner, Adam Engert Jr., and Neveah Herne.
She was the cherished daughter of Aline Kingsley and the late Ralph Kingsley, and a devoted sister to Jeffrey Kingsley, Stephen Kingsley, Judy Woodland, Karen Cannioto, Debra Hunt, Barbara Reid, and the late Randy Kingsley. She will be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place on May 17th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Wesley Hall, Methodist Church, located at 106 E Main St., Victor, NY. There will also be a bonfire at Ann’s home located at 7380 Dryer Rd. Victor, NY that evening, weather permitting. All who knew and loved her are invited to come together to honor her memory.
She will be sorely missed 😢 ❤️. Sleep well my dear sister-in-law 😘 ❤️
We Shoots’ grew up as neighbors on Dryer Road in the 50’s, 60’s and onward until we all went off to our individual life adventures as adults. I babysat for the 8 children when Aline and Ralph went out. My daughter, Amy became close friends with Ann’s daughter, Tina. And when Tina passed away, it was a most difficult time for us. If my memory serves me correctly, I think my mother taught Aline to drive.i have many memories of all of the Kingsley family over the years. My heart goes out to Aline and all of the Kingsley family. at such a sad time.
To the only remaining family that still shares the Dryer Road neighborhood for my last almost 80 years, my heartfelt sympathy to you all as we travel along our journey to our final home where we can all again be ‘neighbors’. 🙏❤️
Sorry for your loss
