Jim was born November 30, 1949, in Canandaigua, NY, he was the oldest son of Joseph and Virginia Miller. Jim was a 1968 graduate of Canandaigua Academy. From a very young age Jim proudly worked on the family farm. Once the family farm was no longer, he continued his love of farming on various farms in Ontario County. Jim was known for his strong work ethic, his sense of humor and his undying love of farming. One of Jim’s biggest accomplishments was his family. He was a proud father and even more proud grandfather. He loved family bonfires and spending as much time as he could talking with and teaching his grandsons. All he did was for his family. He was a strong and hardworking and will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
The family would also like thank Jim’s friends who visited or called during his illness. He loved to talk and catch up on the latest happenings. Bill Frohm brightened many of Jim’s days and for that the family will always be thankful.
In keeping with the wishes of Jim and his family there will be no calling hours. The celebration of life will be at the convenience of the family.

Judy and family,
The world lost a special guy. He was an exceptional husband, dad, grandfather, classmate and a friend to all. I can remember all the fun we had during our school years even if it was many decades ago! Rest in peace We appreciated the work that you did to help us on our farm too! Jim you see that all the heavenly farming gets done, I know you will watch over all of us and send us good weather for that farming work that has to be done. Mary Ann & Hank

We have so many great memories of laughter and good times.
Jim was always ready with a snarky comment and then a laugh as you realized you had been caught in another one of his jokes. He will be missed.
The world will be a touch darker without him in it.
