Carl lived a full and happy life. He honorably served his country in the US Navy as a young man, and ended up retiring from Gleason Works after 39 years.
He loved to hop in his RV and go anywhere the wind blew him, which often included any number of last minute calls to bring along traveling buddies.
He also loved to volunteer. He worked for several years at the adult care facility The Brighter Day. When he wasn’t doing that, he was active with the Victor United Methodist Church in Victor ushering, driving folks to appointments, and helping in the clothes closet.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Carl on Friday May 20th from 11am at the Victor First United Methodist Church – 106 East Main St, Victor.
Because Carl truly never met a stranger, we ask that, in lieu of flowers you would carry on his kindness and pay for a stranger’s meal next time you’re out in his honor
