Chester Bradley Bliss, II

Chester Bradley Bliss, II of Canandaigua, NY passed away peacefully at his home on April 11, 2022.  He was born January 16th, 1943, and is survived by his wife, Mary Lou, and his children, Stephen Bliss and Julie Bliss, his daughter-in-law, Monica Bliss, and his grandchildren, Camryn Bliss and Chester Bradley Bliss, III.

Chester had been a photojournalist and then stockbroker before retiring to his log home, family, dogs, and golf.  But first and foremost, he was a passionate and inspiring American. One who opened his heart as well as his home to a wealth of friends and family. Chester would challenge, question, and make us think harder and clearer. He raised our hopes, spirits, and self-esteem, and sometimes a glass or two of good wine. The kind of man that everyone else said was larger than life but he was too humble to say of himself.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 28 at 10am at the First Congregational Church, 58 North Main St, Canandaigua, NY.
