Patricia Green, July 7, 1952 – February 23, 2022.
Family and friends remember Pat for her beautiful smile, big laugh, and generous heart. Her grandchildren Jake, Emma, Collin, and Caleb were the center of her universe, and she loved her dogs Chico and Cocoa.
Pat lived in Williamsville for most of her life and spent her last few years in Canandaigua to be closer to her grandchildren. She attended Bishop Neuman High School where she had fond memories of her roles in plays and musical productions. She went on to earn degrees from SUNY University of Buffalo and Canisius College. Pat worked for decades as a middle school counselor at Lockport’s Emmett Belknap and North Park middle schools. Working with and being around young people was her passion, and she had great stories of her wonderful coworkers.
Pat is survived by her children Emily (Saeli) Staychock and her husband Ryan, James Saeli and his wife Kelly, brother Michael Green, grandchildren, numerous sisters-and-brothers-in law, and nieces and nephews whom she adored.
There will be a Celebration of Life, open to all, on Saturday, May 21 from noon-5 pm at Brennan’s Bowery Bar, 4401 Transit Rd, Buffalo, NY 14221.Green, Patricia
Pat was truly a kind and gentle soul. Rest in peace.
Pat was always kind and insightful — beginning freshman year at BNHS. Our last interaction, on FaceBook, was a perfect example. I had posted a note about my wife’s surgery and Pat responded in the most supportive way. May the Holy Spirit give strength and comfort to all of Pat’s family and friends. Rest In Peace Pat.
