Laura L. Turner
Shortsville – Laura passed away peacefully September 13. 2021 at her home, surrounded by family after battling a long illness.
She was born September 17, 1949 to Oscar and Virginia Ruebens. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband’s parents Bertram and Edna Jemmott: her sister Joyce Geiseke, brother David Ruebens and sister-in-law Irene Hutson.
Laura is survived by her loving husband, Mark Turner; her children Tammy (Randy) Guzewicz, Jeff (Angel) Johnson, Raymond Johnson, Kirk (Jessica) Yeager Flynn, and Eric (Sarah) Yeager; her sister Charlotte Haight, brother-in-laws Bill Turner, and Doug (Jen) Hutson; sister-in-law Alice Ruebens. Grandchildren Christina (Bryce) Becker, Tiffany (A.J.) Jacobs, Jessica (Brian) Pape, Kayleen (Jarod) Johnson, Kimberly (Allen) Garrison, Carrie (Aaron) Stevens, Iyric Yeager Flynn, Jareth Yeager Flynn, Dylan and Cody Davis. And 12 great grandchildren; Harper, Callie, Grayson, Connor, Alexa, Lily, Matt, Gibson, Bailey, Elijah, James and Journey along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Laura was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed immensely by her loving husband Mark, her dog Cappy and the rest of her family.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Ontario Yates Hospice for all the care they provided. A very special thank you to Stephanie Hutson for her dedication and care for Laura.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Laura’s name to Ontario Yates Hospice and/or Manchester Fire Department.
By her request there will be no funeral services.

Laura, we were fb friends for years. Started out with the games and continued our friendship long after that sharing about our families. I will miss that friendship. Love and hugs to the family…
I worked with Laura at Bloomfield IRA she was a great lady. She cared about our clients genuinely. I always enjoyed working with her. I have spoke to her a few times since my retirement from NY State via FB Messenger. May she rest peacefully in the arms of our Lord.
