Cheryl Lynne Brown entered into eternal rest at age 75 at home on June 11, 2021 surrounded by family.
Cheryl is survived by her loving daughters Debra A. Chase, Terri L. Chase and son Michael J Papaleo. Along with stepdaughters Jeanine Brown, Paula Premo Brown and stepson Rick Brown and niece Trisha Bennett. Grandson Steven Chase, Robert Mertz, Granddaughters Annie Bataglia, Vanessa Walker, Jessica Brown and Samantha Papaleo. Cheryl is also survived by her daughter in-law Sara Chase and many great grand children Jayden Mandujano, Jax Chase Ashlynn Chase, Asher Miller, Sebastian McElroy. She is presided by her brother Craig Plouffe, parents Ruth and Walter Plouffe.
Cheryl attended Greece Olympian high school and was a cheer band member graduating in 1963. She went on to own and operate a successful business after moving to California while achieving her nursing degree simultaneously. Cheryl had a special passion for dolls and doll shows, which she attended throughout California and for a time made beautiful porcelain dolls as a hobby. Cheryl enjoyed holidays, which she made special for family and friends. She was passionate about cooking and has a good-sized receipt book filled with specialties spanning back to her grandmother. Her spaghetti sauce and chicken and dumplings were family favorites. Cheryl loves gardening had quite a green thumb and loved the spring and fall nurturing her Peonies every year.
Cheryl spent the last many years of her life working as a LPN most recently at Thompson hospital, which she absolutely loved and fulfilled her to the fullest. Cheryl will be greatly missed but not forgotten.
Cheryl’s memorial service will be held Tuesday August 10th, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Jarmusz Cotton Funeral Home (26 Maple Ave, Victor, N.Y). Calling hours with friends and family will be held the same day Tuesday August 10th, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 pm at the funeral home directly preceding the service. Followed by a burial at White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Rd. Pittsford, NY) for anyone wishing to attend.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
It was an honor knowing Cheryl for 53 years.She loved her family very much and was a compassionate person for the sick,loved animals ,and had many friends..Indeed there is a place in heaven for her.May she rest in peace.Good bye sweety
