Doug had many talents but his true passion was creating in his wood shop. Many of his works were sold throughout the country. Through the years he was a musician, jamming with his friends and a pool shark hustling the guys on Saturday nights. His most recent adventure was raising hops and brewing beer.
The family is holding a private service.
Donations in Dougs memory can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or your local Humane Society.
Doug was a true artist. I have a few wonderful things created beautifully in wood. I cherish my lovely earrings, something he got into later. We had fun times with him playing guitar, listening to music & celebrating many Holidays & summers together. The best was New Years Eve. I’m so blessed to have so many wonderful memories. Rest in peace, Doug ❤️

It was a privilege to have Doug, and Dana work for us at Dynalab Corp. He was a very solid employee and used his woodworking skills to handle our cutting room responsibilities. We will miss him.

Doug was a coworker for only a couple of years before we went different ways. He will always be remembered as the one of the kindest people. His gentle demeanor and and good humor made for a great work environment. He was very proud of his woodwork, but even more proud of his Victor community and above all his dear family.
An excellent man who will be missed. Rest In Peace Doug.
I am very sorry for your loss. Although we never met, I often thought about reaching out to meet Doug. I’m not sure if we were related but I don’t believe the Boughton name is very common. May you find peace and comfort
Doug was a great guy and a very talented artist. I have a clock he gave my wife and I for a wedding present many years ago. I will always think of him when I look at his lovely creation. Tom Scalzo
A true friend, and a good person that I will miss greatly.
The first person I met when I attended Kindergarten in 1964. He was a real down to earth person and a man of many talents. It saddens me to hear of his passing at such a young age. Rest in Peace my Friend.
