Lynn Ira Lamphier, 81, of Himrod, NY, entered into eternity on March 21st, 2021, surrounded by his loving family at home.
He was born on December 30th, 1939, to Ike and Pauline Lamphier in Canisteo, NY.
Lynn was devoted to the love of his life, Nancy, who affectionately called him “Mr. Murphy”, they tied the knot on December 4th, 1976, three months after meeting. Theirs was a lasting love, spanning 44 years of joy found always in each other.
He was a man who loved nothing more than spending his time with his family. Lynn and Nancy often traveled with them throughout the years to the Thousand Islands or Old Forge, relishing the outdoors, birdwatching, walking, and camping.
He enjoyed building and working on his house, and was happiest when busy on a project.
Lynn’s greatest legacy was his numerous extended family, which included many dear loved ones who, though not related by blood, were in his heart all the same.
