Bumpus, Ward W.
Victor, NY
1923-2021
Passed away on March 30, 2021 at age 97. Ward is survived by his wife, Lois of 74 years, eight children , eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren. We long to hear his music and sing with him again. It’s always sad to lose a loved one but losing Ward was a bigger loss because he was such a positive influence for more than his family. He’s shown by example and word what it means to serve our great God Jehovah with your whole heart.
A Memorial Service to be held at a later date. Visit jarmuszcottonfuneralhome.com to leave condolences for the family.
Dear Bumpus families,
We are so saddened to read about the loss of such a wonderful brother. Death is such a great enemy separating family, yet as you know, our God Jehovah can put families back together again. We look forward to that in the near future and hope to witness your joy at his resurrection. Until then, we will keep you in our prayers and are sending hugs to all of you. Our warmest hug for you, Lois!
Please accept my condolences in Ward’s death.

Lois, so sorry to hear that Lloyd passed. You shared a remarkable life together. You may know that Walter Boughton passed in December, 2020 at the age of 99. Another family memory with an extraordinary journey. On April 16th of this year his youngest, my husband, passed. I wish you peace and comfort as you cherish your time together and embrace your wonderful memories. God Bless You…..Patty
We knew the family years ago when they let us board a couple of horses on their property. I can’t say enough about about how nice the whole family was. I have fond memories of riding the horses with their two sons Jared and Joel. Truly they were a special family and Ward was an outstanding person.
I saw Lois obituary in the paper, then found Ward’s. I knew Jared & Joel but was a good friend of John. Very sorry for their loss.
I’m so sorry to see the passing of my former neighbors. May the memories you share help you through this difficult year. Judy McLaughin Snyder.
