Married for 63 years, Rochelle and David Soble, both of Rochester, died three days apart due to various illnesses. They were married on May 18, 1957, at the Sheraton Hotel in Rochester.
Rochelle, 86 (May 7, 1934-Jan. 10, 2021), was born in Rochester, N.Y. to the late Samuel and Dorothy Poppick. She was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School and The Highland Hospital School of Nursing.
She practiced nursing for most of her life and loved her work. She also enjoyed ballet and theater trips with dear friend, Helen Benton, of Rochester.
David, 91 (Jan. 12, 1929-Jan. 7, 2021), was born in Hamilton, Ohio, to the late Benjamin and Anna Soble. He was a decorated soldier in the Army Combat Engineering Division during the Korean War.
He worked in sales his entire career. David was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians and Ohio State Buckeyes.
But, beyond everything else, both immensely loved their families, always putting them first.
They are survived by their two children, Karen Soble-Monoenko (Greg) and Kenneth Soble ( Tricia ); and five grandchildren, Andrew Ouriel, Bradley Soble, Cory Soble, Blake Soble (Sapir Mualem) and Wendy Ouriel.
The family hosted a private service.
