Carl Jefferson Hanselman passed away suddenly on December 17, 2019 at age 53.

Carl is survived by the love of his life-Lisa Kesel; his faithful companion RJ Hanselman, brother Wilbur (Ruth) Aikey of Willow Springs, MO; sisters Rev. Marie Hanselman and Judy Hanselman,Victor, NY; Debra (Scott) Frarey, Stanley, NY; nephews Jacob Aikey, Lewisburg, PA; Joel and Abram Aikey, Willow Springs, MO; and niece Rachel Aikey, Willow Springs, MO.

 

Carl was predeceased by his parents Carl Edward Hanselman, Jr. and Amelia Aikey Hanselman.

 

He was a graduate of the University of Phoenix and was Microsoft certified.

 

Carl was a computer and IT enthusiast who loved Syracuse University sports, Buffalo Bills football, and Washington Huskies basketball. He enjoyed visiting Craft Breweries and spending time with his family.

 

He lived in Victor the majority of his life and spent a few years in Forest Hill, Pennsylvania working at the Forest Hill General Store.

 

Calling hours will be held Saturday, December 21 at the First Presbyterian Church of Victor 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will follow immediately at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. A celebration of Carl’s life will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.

 

In lieu of flowers, kindly consider donations to the Happy Tails Animal Shelter Ontario County Humane Society (2976 County Road 48, Canandaigua, NY 14424) and UCP Al Sigl Community of Agencies (1000 Elmwood Ave, Ste 300, Rochester, NY 14620).

 

The family would like to personally thank the staff of the emergency department and the ICU of Highland Hospital for their excellent care and compassion shown to Carl during his stay.

  2. Our thoughts, prayers and condolences to Lisa, Wilbur, Marie, Judy and Debra. Carl and the Hanselman family were great neighbors. Carl will forever be a part of my life for the countless hours of playing and hanging out together. Many fond memories of whiffle ball, football and shooting baskets together. Carl was always a loyal and sincere friend. I look forward to the day I get to be reunited with him
