Michael Lot Wilder, 83, passed away on March 25, 2019. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, their children Chris, Alan, and Kelley, and their families Rayne and Ben Wilder, and Mario, Clara and Lillian Brandhorst; sister, Anne and John Nichol; in-laws Harlan and Tobie Calkins and

Mary and George Hamlin; nieces and nephews, (and his two cats Barney and Felix).  Mike was predeceased by his parents Gladys and Lot Wilder, brother Nick, in-laws Barbara and Harold Swartout. 

An area native, Mike graduated from the Allendale School, was an Eagle Scout, attended Brown University, and served in the Army in the Korean War before returning to settle in the Rochester area where he was a long-time member of the Genesee Valley Club and Clifton Springs Country Club. Mike worked first at Pfaudler, then was the owner of Rando Machine Corporation until he retired. Mike was an enthusiastic golfer, an avid student of history, and liked nothing more than a good book to read.

A reception in his honor will be hosted by the family on Thursday April 4, from 4pm-8pm at the Sands Gallery, New York Kitchen, 800 S. Main Street, Canandaigua.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to any of the following organizations Mike supported: The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, The Allendale Columbia School, or Tay House.

    Stephanie Cooper Clarke …..and John Clarke who preceded Mike by just about 10 months.
